I have 30 years experience in nuclear and industrial safety in both technical assessment and project management roles. Right from the beginning of my career I have found solutions to safety problems by developing and applying appropriate techniques and methods, many of which have subsequently formed the basis of the relevant safety cases. My experience covers most aspects of the nuclear lifecycle and many nuclear technologies giving me the capability of understanding both the overall picture and the technical details of projects in which I am involved.
